THE HSBC SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

Eligibility:
- Full time student in a recognized local Public or Private universities or college inclusive of twinning programme.
Criteria:
- Malaysian citizen, below 25 years of age
- SPM minimum 5 distinction; or
- Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran (STPM) minimum 2As and 2Bs and a pass in General Studies; or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of minimum of 3.00 for Diploma / Matriculation / Foundation.
Scholarship Package:
- 3 years full-time degree course.
- Private Universities/Colleges (twinning programme) – RM24,000.00
- Public Universities – RM18,000.00 (Disbursed over a period of 3 years (RM8,000/RM6,000 per annum respectively)
- No bonding required.
- Applicants must not be in receipt of any other scholarships, or award from any educational institutions, or any other organizations/foundation
Closing date 31 July 2007

yes, when i was in the scholarship unit last time, we advertised in this newspaper the STAR, Utusan, NSTP and Berita Minggu…we choose sunday or saturday

Hello guys, unlike all of you,i took an effort of calling the bank up and found out that the HSBC Bank is not offering the scholarship starting from this year(2007) onwards.

hello again..i came back as fast as I could..
The above info is wrong and forgive me for that eventhough it is entirely not my mistake.
Actually, i also e-mailed this people in hsbc and i got a reply saying the scholarship usually opens in the end of June and so we can all look out for it in the newspapers or the HSBC webpage >community>scholarship
I guess whichever knucklehead that picked up the phone the other day when i called was ignorant about this matter
