Intel Malaysia Scholarship
Intel Malaysia is one of the largest and most advanced Intel technology centers outside the US. Known for its world-class safety standards in the global semiconductor industry, Intel Malaysia is also a two-time winner of the Prime Minister’s Quality Award, a symbol of excellence honored to public and private organizations that implement outstanding total-quality management programs and contribute significantly to the country’s economy and community.
ELIGIBILITY
To qualify for the scholarship, an applicant MUST
- Be a Malaysian Citizen; Bumiputeras are encourages to apply
- Be a full-time student in a local university and must not hold any scholarship from other companies/organizations/JPA (PTPTN loan is allowed
- Be currently pursuing on e of the following disciplines:
o Electrical/Electronic Engineering
o Computer Engineering
o Telecommunications Engineering
- Have any of the following
o SPM results with a minimum A2 for all subjects (which must include English, Mathematics and all Science subjects); OR
o STPM with grad A for all subjects; OR
o Matriculation with CGPA 3.5 and above; OR
o For university undergraduates, you must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5
HOW TO APPLY
Please e-mail your completed resume to grp_Intel_Scholarship@intel.com by 15 September 2007. Your resume should contain the following information:
* Name & contact number
* Address
* Examination results
* Name of university
* IC number
Only short listed candidates will be interviewed from August to September 2007
VALUE OF SCHOLARSHIPS
Successful applicant will be awarded a Primary Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree Scholarship
The scholarships are valued at
- RM10,000 per year for undergraduates
- RM13,000 per year for postgraduates
Successful candidates will also be given the priority of Industrial Training (internship)
