Doctorate Scholarship Granted By The Turkish Government

This scholarship is meant for those who interested to further their study in PhD. programme only.
Eligibility Criteria

• Not the citizen of the Republic of Turkey.
• Have completed graduate programmes at least four years before the date of application.
• Fluent communication skills in Turkish, English or French languages.
• Do not have health/medical problems to study in Turkey
• Open to university graduates who want to do doctorate studies on the basis of Cultural Exchange.
• Candidates should have a knowledge of Turkish language, otherwise will be placed in the Turkish language training courses during the first academic year.

Amount Of Award & Duration

• 175 New Turkish Liras = RM483.806 for the monthly allowance. The rate is subject to change according to daily exchange rates.
• Free accommodation at state dormitories affiliated to the Ministry of National Education if there are places available. No grants possible for those refusing state accommodation and covers for the medical care expenses (except for long-term illnesses, complex operations, orthodontics, prosthesis and tooth prosthesis)
• The scholarship will commerce from October 1 onwards and continue as long as successful education period.
• Travel expenses will be borne by students or by their governments. Food at the students’ own cost.
