The Star Education Fund - Scholarship Awards 2008
Applications are now open to Malaysians for scholarship awards offered by the following educational institutions.
Eligibility
• be Malaysian citizens of not more than 25 years of age as at 1st January 2008.
• have excelled in extra-curricular activities and active in sports.
• not be bonded to or in any receipt of any financial aid or awards from other educational institutions or organizations.
• for Foundation/Diploma courses, applicants must possess reasonably good results in the SPM/UEC or equivalent.
• for Higher and Advanced Diploma/Degree courses, applicants must possess reasonably good results in the STPM/A-Level/
UEC or equivalent

I dont see any requirement for medical check up report to apply for scholarship. Normally people ask for it when you are already selected as one of the successful candidate…

1. If I am away on NS program now,and intend to enrol in a private college for July intake, can I apply for this scholarship now? I will not be available for interview when called for unless it can be postphoned till my return.
2. If I decide to enrol for Jan 2008 intake, can I still use my SPM 06 results to apply?

I am a staff from one of the private universities in Malaysia. I would like to take one PHD/MPhil (research) student using my grant. My offer or the scholarship is about RM130K++ (including 3 year tuition fee and monthly allowance). Student has a chance to get a PHD degree from UK University. Good supervision will be provided. Research areas: Signal/Image/Visual processing, biometric or multi-biometric, intelligent visual system, AI, embedded system.

I was looking high and low for Star Education Fund contact number but fail to do so. I am really keen on asking about the Master or Postgraduate scholarship that Star offers which are from UCE Birmingham and Univeristy of East London (UEL). I would like to know how do i apply for it and what should i do before filling int he form.
I am currently a Star scholarship holder for the course Biotechnology. I’m going to graduate very soon in May.

Sir, i have just got my Stpm result & going to apply for this scholaship.
We must attach all the supporting documents rite?
But now my problem is that i couldnt provide any supporting document on my financial status because my parents r separated n my father doesnt give us any financial support. My mom is working as baby-sitter but doesnt hv payslip or any supporting document.

Hi. I obtainted 10 A1’s and 1 A2 for my SPM Year 2007. I would like to master in pharmacy by applying THE STAR scholarship but i’m not sure THE STAR have such offers to the course that i wanna major in.
