Sponsorship for Overseas Program

Under the Renown University Program, outstanding students will be selected to follow preparatory program in Malaysia for 1 year to 2 years. The preparatory program is done at credible preparatory colleges. Students will then be placed at renown Universities basedÂ on the following conditions:-
o Pass with excellent results in the preparatory program
o Admitted into the renown universities recommended by PSD
o Pass health/medical examination

The sponsorship awarded is in the form of a scholarship & students are required to enter into a contract to serve the government. Countries of choice for this program are United States of America and United Kingdom.

Under the German Engineering program, students who are interested will be sponsored in the form of a scholarship and will follow the preparatory program for 2 years at PPPITM, Shah Alam. During the preparatory program, students are required to take the A-level examinations with basic German language. Students who are successful in the German language examination as well as being accepted into a recommended German University will be sent to further their studies at degree level.

Sponsorship for Local Program

Scholarships are being offered to outstanding students at Public Institute of Higher Learning in areas such as Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, Science and Technology and social Science.
Scholarships are also being awarded to outstanding students at Ministrial Polytechnic of Education, Malaysia.
Â Level of sponsorship include Diploma, Diploma equivalent to Degree, Advanced Diploma and First Degree.
Sponsored students who have completed first degree with excellent result are eligible to apply for sponsorship at Masters and PhD levels.
Eligibility Criteria for Local Sponsorship

+ Malaysian Citizen
+ Sucessfully obtain admission into Public Local University

+ Should not be more than 26 years for Diploma program
+ Should not be more than 36 years for First Degree and Advanced Diploma courses
+ Age does not exceed 45 years old for Government Officers

Application Forms

The scholarship application forms for Public Institution of Higher Learning â€“ Local, students can obtain the forms from the respective university.
For overseas sponsorship, application forms can be obtained from the PSD office when the program is being advertised.
The advertisement will be posted on the PSD website under the title â€œCOURSES AND SPONSORHIPâ€.

The JPA website is rather confusing. I went here http://www.jpa.gov.my/english/bijazahptama.asp but could not find the form. Is it opened yet? When is the due date? The Malay and English version of the website display different information. Is it the same with this one http://www.jpa.gov.my/lskhidmat.asp. Please reply. I’m currenty in a first year of degree

Greetings.

I am 2007 Spm Candidate. Currently, I am waiting for my result which will be coming out, perhaps, in March.
Regarding to the above statement, i conclude that Jpa would not sponsor Foundation Programme students.
However, I am going to a few interviews for United Kingdom Foundation Programme in Interior Architecture course.
Here, I would like to state my curiousity if I should start applying for the Jpa scholarship for my future Degree Programme in Interior Architecture. Other than that, would it be possible to continue my studies based on my choices of universities?
Please let me know about further requirements regarding to this Jpa application.

FAQ are like debate topics..U have to be sharp,posess a penetrative brain and focus in order to achieve a good result in your interview.eg of FAQ r like “ARE women better than men?” or “the cause of the peaking unemployment rate in malaysia”.

hye tieya,i think if u take uiam engineering foundation,u will never have a chance to go to overc as they will terus serap u dlm uiam engineering utk buat bachelor’s degree..compared to matrik perak ,there is still a chance for u to apply to go to overc(only if u get 4 flat)..but i dont think it is under jpa..if u dont pass the interview after the spm results,its ok..thats mean u still have a chance to get jpa scholarship(wit condition u have to study in ipta) …kalau u betul2 nak study overc,the greatest chances adalah mase buat master..thats life babe

But the students from that allowed to sit for examination once they are back in Malaysia. Our country still needs doctors. So, why not include this prestige university which is internationally recognised.

Next year? If i’m not mistaken, the portal will be opened at the end of June 2009. Its at eSILA website. Here’s the website:

ps.I have obtained 1A 2A- 2B in my STPM examination with a cgpa of 3.59, and for the first semester examination in university i have obtained 3.59 too.

I have just successfully changed course from Aerospace Engineering to Mechanical Engineering.

Hey, I am currently taking the international baccalaureate (IB) diploma program at the international school of kuala lumpur (ISKL). I am doing my last semester, right now. I have a few college offers but i am waiting for a call from royal college of surgeons in Ireland for interviewing. That school is my number one choice.
