Sarawak Higher Education Fund Charitable Trust (HiED)
HiED invites students pursuing courses in Engineering and Quantity Surveying at Institutions of Higher Learning in Sarawak* to apply for a Study Loan.
Details are as follows:
Level of Study
- Certificate (at Politeknik Kuching & Mukah and ICATS only) or;
- Foundation or;
- Diploma or;
- Bachelor’s Degree.
Qualifications of Applicant
- Malaysian citizen domiciled in Sarawak, and/or Sarawakians;
- Should not be a loan or scholarship holder from any other Fund or Sponsor;
- Meet entry requirements and study full-time.
Application Forms
- Application Forms (HiED/Form01) are available at the respective Institutions of Higher Learning or download at www.yayasan.org.my/download2.
- The Forms are also available at HiED Secretariat.
- Completed Application Forms maybe submitted to the respective Institutions of Higher Learning or to the Secretariat at the following address.

just want to know, how your oan progress. we now about 1 month after send our result to hied and until now dont have our loan in our bank. how we want to buy our book for study. until now, we not yet pay our registeration fee. please be notice about this. we hope that our loan as soon as posible.

I’m Mr Ting from Kuching, Sarawak. Currently, i had just succeed in applying ( already been offered offer letter) for postgraduate study in Unimas, under Corporate Master in Business Administration (CMBA).
Therefore, i would like to ask is there any scholarship for postgraduate students that i can apply?

i just want to ask when our loan will be release because almost a month we had send our slip result but we still don’t pay for our fees and we keep using our parent money to buy the books.If this problems still continue until the end of our study, this will lead us to trouble in every semester.please be concern about this matter thank you

what happen to hied loan???we’ve been waiting for the money for about 1month!!–how can the students pay the registration fees???
we have to pay to study…!!
AND….we heard that ICATS & Swinburne’s students didnt get their loan too…
