The Australian National University Alumni Association Malaysia Scholarship 2008
The Australian National University (ANU) and The ANU Alumni Association Malaysia will offer scholarships to outstanding Malaysians for study in Australia at The Australian National University in 2008.
1. THE ANU ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, MALAYSIA – ONE (1) UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship covers tuition fees and an annual stipend of A$10,000 for any Bachelor’s degree (including Honours and combined degrees). You should have completed upper secondary schooling in 2007.
2. THE ANU ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, MALAYSIA – ONE (1) DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship covers tuition fees, stipend and allowances for three years. You should hold at least a First Class Honours degree or a Masters degree from a recognised University.
The scholarships are open only to Malaysian citizens who are normally resident in Malaysia. Application forms and further information are available from all IDP Education Australia offices. However, please return / submit the application forms only to IDP Education Australia’s head office, address as stated below.
Closing date for applications on scholarships:
1. Undergraduate Scholarship – Thursday 31 December 2007 5pm
2. Doctor of Philosophy Scholarship – Friday 29 February 2008, 5pm

I am a senior 3 student which study in Hin Hua High School. It was a Chinese Independent School. I just had my Malaysian Independent Chinese Secondary School Unified Examination Results yesterday. My Results :
Bahasa Cina B3
Bahasa Malaysia A1
English B3 ( waiting for IELTS Results )
Mathematics A2
Advanced Mathematics A1
Commerce B3
Commerce Studies A2
Book-Keeping A1
In conclusion : A1 = 3, A2= 2 , B3 = 3
Total subjects I taken in the exam was 8.
I would like to study oversea but I have financial problem. I hope I can get a scholaship to study oversea. I will work hard if I want. Hope can received your reply. Thank you.

this scholarship is only eligible for 1st semester of 2008 or it is eligible for both semesters? the application for the 2nd semester is also closed or it is not open yet?

I’m interested in applying for schorlarship for Optometry course in University of Melbourne. Am i eligible to apply? What can i do in order for the scholarship application to proceed? I’m now waiting for my STPM result.

I have graduated from A-level program. I am currently applying admission into ANU. I found out this useful scholarship but there are some questions that I wonder. (1)Is this scholarship been offered to commencing students once in their lifetime only? [I mean if the commencing student can apply only once for their first time admission into ANU] (2)Or is the scholarship been offered to continuing students as well? This is because I have missed the opportunity to apply the scholarship and I think I will be granted offer letter from ANU; and I will be starting the course in July, so just want to ask whether the scholarship is applicable to commencing students and continuing students.
