The National Scholarship was introduced in 2005 with the objective of providing tertiary scholarship opportunities to students who have performed academically well in schools. More than 250 students have benefited from this scholarship programme each year since its inception.

This scholarship programme is opened to all SPM students sitting for their examination in 2008. Applications are based on school’s forecast/ trial examinations results.
