Applications are now open to Malaysians for The Star Education Fund – Scholarship Awards 2010.
ELIGIBILITY
- be Malaysian citizens of not more than 25 years of age as at 1st January 2010.
- have excelled in extra-curricular activities & active in sports.
- not be bonded to or in receipt of any financial aid or awards from other educational institutions or organizations.
- for Foundation / Diploma courses, applicants must possess reasonably good results in the SPM / UEC or equivalent.
- for the Higher and Advanced Diploma / Degree courses, applicants must possess reasonably good results in the STPM / A-Level / UEC or equivalent.

Completed application forms with the required certified supporting documents listed in the application forms must be received by (2) two weeks after the release of SPM or STPM results. Late applications will not be accepted. Only short-listed applicants will be notified.

Can a student doing a Foundation in Engineering in The University of Nottingham after SPM apply for the Star Education Fund-Scholarship Awards 2009 ?

Hi,
I’m a pure science student and I’ll be sitting for my spm at the end of this year. I would like to inquire about the minimum amount of A’s that will make me eligible to apply for the star education fund. I’m also very much interested in the fashion designing course, and since im a pure science students (which was a huge mistake)- achievements are mostly in chemistry and honestly im just sick and tired of it- I would like to know the odds of getting a scholarship in this field of design.

I have made some enquiries on 30-1-2009 and again reminded on 27-2-2009 regarding whether a student doing Foundation in Engineering in the University of Nottingham Malaysia is eligible to apply for the scholarship but until todate , no reply at all ! So, what is the point to enquire ?????

HI.. im taking American degree transfer program (ADTP) majoring in chemical engineering in Sunway University College.. as u know, ADTP is not listed above. When is the actual dead line for the scholarship? Is 2 weeks after stpm results or 2 weeks after spm results? Can anyone pls let me noe. Thanks!

i’m a SPM leaver of 2009. i am having 7A’s ,3B’s, and 2C’s in addmaths n est.As a science stream student,i would wish to pursue my studies in chemical engineering..However, my B+ falled on my pysics and,B on chemistry n biology..Meantime,im hoping for a scholarship too.if,this is my result, can i pursue my studies in local uni without doing stpm or matriculation? kindly reply..thank you so much.
