OPPORTUNITY grants provide support for international students who may need financial help to take the next step towards studying at an accredited institution of higher learning in the United States.
These grants are available now to help cover the upfront costs of seeking tertiary education in the US and are part of EducationUSA’s broad range of assistance to international students.
The Opportunity Fund (OF) covers various expenses related to the application procedure and the process of getting to the US to study. It does not cover tuition costs or expenses for your study and stay in the US.
You are eligible if you have a strong academic record, good co- curricular involvement, positions of leadership and perform community service and want to study in the US for a Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree.
This programme is only open to students who will not receive a Fulbright or other US Government-sponsored grant.
