Introduction

Public Service Department has open invitations for qualified Malaysia citizen to apply for BIASISWA YANG DI-PERTUAN AGONG TAHUN 2012 to pursue Master Degree or PhD. Programme locally or abroad leading to Science & Technology, Economy or Law programme.

Priority is given to students who have secured a place at a local or world-renowned university, besides displaying exemplary academic results at the undergraduate or Masters level.

“Ideally, candidates should possess a flair for languages and a love for social work or have produced creative and innovative works.

  • 6 for Master Degree programme
  • 6 for Ph.D. programme

Eligibility Criteria

  • Malaysia citizens
  • Age not more than 30 years during application
  • Holds a recognized bachelor Degree/ Master Degree with a minimum of CGPA 3.75 or equivalent.
  • Active in co-curriculum activities
  • Preference will be given to those able to speak third international language.
  • Obtained a place at local universities or reputable universities abroad (Ivy League) in Science & Technology, Economy or Law programme.

Service Bond

The scholars are required to return to Malaysia upon completion of studies and to serve the Government for a minimum period of 5 years.
