- Must have a confirmed placement from Local Malaysian Public Universities.
- This scholarship program is catered exclusively for the lower income families.

Eligibility criteria
YWS Scholarship Award 2008 is open to candidates currently studying, registered or applying to local institution of higher learning or university.
* STPM in local schools or Matriculation courses in local public universities.
* Any course in local universities, technical colleges and vocational institutions
In addition, applicants must:
* be Malaysian
* demonstrate a continuing involvement in extra-curricular activities (team or individual sports; voluntary service; affiliation with a recognized association or society)

John Beck Scholarship and The IMU Medical Scholarship

Value of Scholarship
- Each scholarship will cover the full tuition fees for the entire duration of the 5-year undergraduate medical course at the IMU- MBBS, valued at RM338,000.
- Two (2) medical scholarship will be awarded each year for the August intake.

Value of Scholarship
- Each scholarship will cover the full tuition fees for the entire duration of the 3 ½-year undergraduate MPharm course at the IMU and the University of Strathclyde, valued at more than RM180,000.
- Two (2) pharmacy scholarships will be awarded every year for the December intake.
- APPLICATION CLOSING DATE: 15 JUNE 2008

Value of Scholarship
- Each scholarship will cover the full tuition fees for the entire duration of the 4-year undergraduate BPharm course at the IMU, valued at RM129,600.
- One (1) student will be awarded every year for the July intake.

Value of Scholarship
- Each scholarship will cover the full tuition fees for the entire duration of the 4-year undergraduate Nursing course at the IMU valued at RM72,000.

Malaysian students applying for admission into local universities for Degree courses for the academic year 2008 / 2009 are invited to apply for the CCM scholarships.
Bumiputera students including those who are pursuing Matriculation courses in local universities are also encouraged to apply.
Awards are available for the following courses of study:
* Pharmacy / Biomedical
* Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical)
* Bioindustry / Sciences
Applicants must be Malaysian citizens and possess a full STPM or equivalent Matriculation qualification. The awards are subject to candidates gaining admission to the respective course of study in any of the local universities.
