If you notice not all scholarship providers provide an application form, there are cases where they would like candidate to submit their personal details Eg (CCM Scholarship). So the question that you might first ask is on the format to be used.

Don’t panic, if you ask you bro/sis who has been in the career world this is nothing new. Many people called this as resume or cv ?

So what is cv/resume ?

A résumé is a document that contains a summary or listing of relevant job experience and education. The résumé or CV is typically the first item that a potential employer encounters regarding the job seeker and is typically used to screen applicants, often followed by an interview, when seeking employment.

If you do some search on Google, you will find plenty of web pages showing various topic, format on this resume. So which one should be used ? Most of the template that you can get online is applicable for jobseeker and not for scholarship seeker. The format for me is no 2, the most important is the content.

In this post, we would like to share with MSN on what should be added in your resume. Based on our experience, good resume should contains the following :

  • Your passport-sized photo
  • Education Objective : What actually you want to pursue ?
  • Personal details
  • Education Background
  • Achievement/Awards Received
  • Co-curriculum activities
  • Additional Skill
  • Reference
  • Training Attended (if any)

For reference, we also attach few format of resume for you to consider. Irrespective whether you want to apply for a scholarship or not, a resume must be kept with and update from time time as an when required.
